G'day all.

In light of no trip report yet, I've managed to knock this video up. I think Subaruby is going to do the report - or we'll collate the photos and get back to you ;)

In the mean time:

Hope you enjoyed it.

I'm not sure about the sound track - let me know what you reckon... It just sort of fitted and in the current state of tiredness I was running out of time and steam to get it completed during the night...

Ok so just realised that the sound track is messed up at the beginning - I'll have to reload the video once I've solved the problem...

???

Soundtrack at the start sounds like a H6. How is that messed up?

Thanks for putting that up. Was a good afternoon, even though I'll be making an insurance claim.

oh, and you've given the blue H6 the wrong name. Djulpan was the red forester: this one is The Dulagarl.

(Thanks Mr Turbo for changing my forum name!)

Great vid mate, fantastic :quitar:
I like the beginning of it, sounds great. I really like the sound of the H6 at the start, I think its a great intro to the vid :raz:

Looks like you guys had a great time. Can't wait to read all about the adventure in the trip report

Regards
Mr Turbo

That's not a sound track - that's gold! :p

... very efficient!

Thanks guys.

I loved making it! And glad I got it right with the soundtrack. I'm also glad I was able to easily change your name Dulagarl!

Well done, I like it. That track had everything from rocks to water to mud and ruts galore. The sound track was great, laid back, easy listening, easy watching. That mud had you guys sliding everywhere. I like it.

Yeah Campbell - that area is very slippery once there's a little bit of moisture on the ground! Our tyre choice really helped us out, Subaruby on a set of snow tyres and I was on a set of road venturers by kuhumo (?).

The geology of the area is granitic boulders and sand that then turns into loam clay and shale depending on where you are. I think we were on the cross over of the two as there was sand but still quite a bit of loam around. The sand washes away super quick and thus leads to track degradation that ends up with these rocky paths. The upper section that I did on my stag weekend was very rocky. Wish I had the honda springs in the rear for that one. We didn't bother looking at that section of the track - too much time wasting for only two vehicles to have a go at. As it was the section we did took much longer than expected!
