Just curious to see what different Subarus come equipped with (or what you've customized) as far as the interior goes around the globe. Stereo/ uphosltery, etc...
As for me, i'm about as stock as it gets - minus the floor mats! For a MY99

Aftermarket "left handed" pitching wedge - used to give the a/c fan a little tap-tap-taparooo when it needs a little jump start

Leather seats, seat warmers, 4EAT tranny

Stock 6 disc cd changer and TAPE DECK  , aftermarket California Scents freshner. A little dusty, but it's all good ;)

I added tint and replaced those 1oz plastic framed OE speakers with 3-way 6-1/2" Polk speakers.

My MY06 is the X series, the base model. It came with standard cloth trim, 4 airbags, cruise control, A/C, single disc cd player, power steering, and standard subaru floor mats. Oh and also 7 cupholders... not bad for a 5 seater car. The car also has a 12V cig lighter, plus a power socket in the centre console and in the boot. I had fitted when I bought the car from the used car dealer, a cargo barrier and window tint.
Since then, I've had spot light switch fitted, fan cut out switch, built a storage system in the boot for all my camping gear, as well as take out the base of the back seat, and made a timber base for a fridge, and food/water box. I also had a 2nd battery fitted for the fridge, and replaced all the interior lights with LED ones. Lastly I've also mounted a fire extinguisher to the floor mat. I think that's it.

Regards,

Joel

In my '83 GL I had to keep in my center console, a "sun visor Z-axis tension control adjustment device"...a stubby phillips screwdriver so I could tighten the pivot screw in the corner of the visor to keep it from flopping down when I didn't want it to.

Alright, YotaRu's custom interior features...

Brook's (bicycle) leather handlebar tape, custom wrapped steering wheel.

Terrapondus Machine Works custom, somewhat matched, gear and transfer case shifter knobs...

...these both started out life as Subie shift knobs, but were modified for YotaRu use.

Mojitsu, mojo, lucky charms...I was about to start a thread on this, but this seems like a fitting place.:)

Harold the rI-na-sore-us, named from the Primus song "Harold of the Rocks"...

Harold and I go back to, probably, 1990 purchased at the San Francisco Zoo, Harold has been providing great mojo service to; 1977 Yota Corolla, 1989 Plymouth Voyager, 1992 Yota Corolla, 1983 Subie GL, 2005 Foz XT, and finally YotaRu.

"Jeep" troll...

When I was growing up, my Uncle who had been in the Army, had gotten a surplus Willy's Jeep. This Troll rode around hanging from the rear view mirror for as long as he owned it. Somehow my sister ended up with it and I had to beg her to let me have it. I still have to give it back to my Uncle however if he ever gets another Jeep.

Dude, does that odometer really say 104,484 miles?!!??!?!?! I love the troll & the shift knobs! The main knob actually looks like it would work really well, not tiny at all.... Now if only i had a standard

Nope, the odometer says 204,484.

The main knob is great, the transfer case knob started out as an SG AT knob, but it was too small and looked silly. If I'd ever get my lathe up and running, I'd start making shift knobs again, but with the button on the SF AT it just isn't practical to make one for them.

Custom dash center console made from 6mm MDF and 2 support brackets. Features a DIN stereo, a slot for a TX3220(?) GME UHF and a digital voltmeter. I kinda broke it once by accident while being at my wits end fitting it..doesnt look as good as it should but its still doign the job!

The front doors have been replaced by 1982 MY doors which sombody already had speaker holes cut in.
I installed spare 5" 2001 Falcon wagon rear speakers in it which arent too bad. 140w Amp under the driver seat/rear passenger footwell. (which i think is now dead thanks to a windscreen leak in torrential rain..) The speakers in the pic below were moved to the boot a while later when i bought decent speakers.

The whole interior has been restored. Most plastic bits were in a bad way. Bit of sanding and spray never hurt

Rubber matts from an EL Falcon ex cab. Also had a cooler in there, it fit perfectly in between the front seats. Worked a treat too.

And also, some kick arse seatcovers!

I opted for cloth trim when I bought it & no sun roof.
I added tint, a cargo barrier, fire extinguisher, pupple lights & a few switches for various things. eg fan cut out switch & spotties etc.

Dust and dirt... LOTS of it!

Ruby Scoo's centre console is from an MY touring wagon for the centre located power window switches. I've got a block of wood that was poorly made up to hold the stereo in - looks like crap but does the job. Some aftermarket gauges - one that actually works. Fluro tube interior light, remote central locking (works a treat!), battery charge indicator with built in anti-spike protection, inside/outside temp gauge ($45 at Jaycar) with battery voltage indicator as well as ice and under charge/over charge warning alarms. Themo fan cutoff switch, cruise control, extra 3 cig lighter ports, map lights from the GL model and door map holders/speaker pods from a VS commodore - only driver's side is mounted! I've also got the 4 gauge GL spec instrument cluster :D

Vinyl floor covering, cloth seats, the usual DL spec interior other than the above.

Its filthy, I'll be honest about that - but I reckon you're better off with rubbish in your car than throwing it out the window... I would love a set of Foz seats to add to the front to get rid of the old, tired L series seats.

After market gauges - freezing the cooling system last winter eventually killed the temp gauge. The amp gauge has never been connected and the oil pressure gauge is the only one still working... Cruise control pad mounted above the hazard lights:

The block of wood for the stereo can be seen in the pic below - dash was removed during the EJ conversion to lay out wiring and find the speed sensor that's built into the instrument cluster.
