2001 Legacy Front Diff Noise

Slight whine from front diff , Sent to new ( Very Good ) new mechanic .
Drained oil , Metalic colour !
New oil and Morey's diff additive, Will take a few day's to work will let you all know what happen's.
 
Min did this I have 4 speed auto 2001 ob the transaxle was cactus rebuild was just under $5000 car has only done 150K bend over and cop that :-(
 
Just put in a second hand Auto/front diff $1500 fitted . Make sure you get diff oil's changed not just checked . Spoke to an Automatic trans Guy He was telling me service agents not changing diff oil when they are due . He has had a few
AWD cars in with front diff wear even a Range Rover 80 K on clock.
