'Deathsled'

My friend Doug stayed over here last night on his way to a Subie meet at The Tail of the Dragon. You usually see Doug behind the wheel of his wife's blue FJ Cruiser. But this weekend he's rolling the 'Deathsled'.:ebiggrin:

Still stock engine wise, but lowered on WRX springs and bigger sway bars, Doug has become quite the autocross monster in this car. Another bit of history, it used to belong to Jami, my buddy who now drives the yellow FJ.

Sounds like they had a great time!!!

I was going to try and meet up with them after wards and meet some of the folks who went on the drive, but due to a motorcyclist having to be scraped off the pavement (frequent occurrence out there) they got delayed by a couple of hours.

Sadly I know what you mean mate. It happens out my way, way too often aswell :sad:

I don't even know if the meet folks know what happened, it very well might not have been a big deal, just enough to tie up traffic for a while.
