Hi all,

Im after an idea on how much you guys have paid to replace your clutch?

Anything i should look out for? Is it worth getting done when im having a 200k service - will i save on labour?

Thanks,

Paul

I've always done my own clutch...

I doubt that you'll save on labour at your 200k service.

Get the rear main seal done while they've got the engine and box apart.

It's usually common practise to have the flywheel machined to make sure the face is true, personally I've never done this if the clutch has been behaving fine.

I think its common to go for a clutch kit rather than just replace the clutch plate - I know I only replace the clutch plate and leave the pressure plate unless there's something wrong with it.

It's up to you as to what you go with. It would be a good time to upgrade the pressure plate if with an excedy clutch kit if you so desire, it might be a few more $'s compared to a standard replacement clutch kit...

Cheers

Bennie
