So we returned once more to GreenRidge State Forest in Western Maryland. Did a little spring camping with a bunch of friends.
When we got there we instantly got some bad news. The ORV trail is closed due to flooding and endangered plants! They are going to be relocating the trail in the next couple years or if funds do not allow, it will remain closed. There is only a 5 or so mile stretch that will stay open to public and one of the park rangers nicely showed us the way so we can at least get the cars muddy.
Thanks to my gf Amanda for taking some lovely pics!
On the way there, welcomed by some beautiful clouds
Taking the dirt road to our camp site
Lovin' the forest air and lush colors of the trees
Then we set up camp!
Then we spent the night and the next day after some food and games, i strapped the GoPro Hero to my roof and on we went.
The 4Runner blasting through the mud holes on the way to the "power lines"
Ah, here we are. What a view!
4Runner trailing behind me as we do a little hill climb
This was a fun dissent. Too bad it doesn't look half as steep as it felt.
The UNDERDOGS!!!
The BIG RIGS!!!
Some 3 wheel action!
