If only it was a Forester :iconwink:

I have seen this before. Although its just the body of a Forester at least they love them that much to put a Subie body on, rather than a Hilux or some other 4WD. It looks cool anyway.
Too bad its not street legal  Monster Fozzie on the freeway.

Not street legal in Ostraya, but as long as it's under 15' tall and no more than 44" tires (either 44" or 48" is the limit) , it's good here
Which is why something like this would be perfectly legal here..................

Sorry to be the odd one out- but that does nothing for me.

You'd want to have a fair bit of money trying to stick a 5 cylinder in line engine into the engine bay of a Forrie.

haha no thanks.
Diesel all the way. If I had the money I'd be pulling my subaru motor and chucking in an OM617

I would love a boxer diesel but cost, it would be much $$$ and much :censored::censored: to get it working in a SF Forry. A H6 3.0l would still keep the car a Subie and has been done successfully. It would still have that excellent boxer sound when you put your foot down  And heaps of power, especially if it were turbocharged. That would be a quick little offroad machine :lildevil:
In my dreams

Taza

Would still prefer a diesel...and NOT a Subaru diesel.
I want my torque low down and applicable. :)

That's why I'm no longer offroading my Subaru. Not up to the task and I don't want to butcher her :P

^^ I completely understand that. But I can only afford 1 car and I need a highway car thats comfortable, safe and reliable. But she can still do some decent offroad work too.
