I'm just back from competing in a motorkhana today at Eastern Creek. Car was unbelievably good to drive. How can I describe the elation as you enter a corner as fast as you dare, rip on the handbrake and as you slide around the corner, now on full throttle with all four wheels spinning wildly and then on to the next corner? On other occassions I was doing some circle work on the dry concrete, with smoke billowing from all four just as they do in the WRC! Despite missing half the morning sessions with a loose master cylinder of all things (No idea how that happened as it has not ever been touched), somehow I still managed 23rd out of 30. Navigation was the biggest problem- even my navigator lost where we were on one occasion. But what a blast. In the afternoon, I stopped going for a time and concentrated on not hitting any witches hats or getting a WD (Wrong Direction) and having fun. Succeeded on all counts!:biggrin::biggrin:
