Well my patience finally paid off. I have been waiting to pull the trigger on a new set of tires and I finally did. I got these OEM wheels w/ General Grabber AT's, mounted and balanced, for $400usd. I ended up buying them off a guy who got rid of his forester and had these tires with only a few thousand miles on them.

Here are a few pics of them installed:

Also added an 02-03 JDM STi scoop for bling factor

And snagged up an OEM rear differential plate for $25usd

So I am almost ready for some mountain trail/camping adventures. I really can't wait to get away from the RV's and such. With a 16mo old, you can't really backpack it...so this is the ticket. Still on the hunt for a safari rack, have my eye on some PIAA's and a CB radio. Next step is to fab up a front skid and replace the plastic. I'm cheesed!

Looks great, nothing better than being in the right place at the right time :iconwink:

Nice, I myself just finished my front skid plate, I went over the plastic factory plate.
One of these days I will have to take some pictures and post them.

I don't know if it is an optical illusion, but it looks like one of your lateral arms is bent- the RH rear one. The other interesting thing- and my Forrie is the same- is that they use the same method of mounting the rear diff as my early model Impreza, not the one from the Impreza of the same age.
