anyone thinking of going for the weekend? not too far from Sydney or Brissy.
theres a good chance i'll be there. thinking of taking a mountain bike with me so i can cruize between check points/viewing areas:lildevil:

Hi Eden,
It is tempting isn't it. Have you seen a WRC event before? I've been to the old Rally Australia (Perth) and the old Rally NZ (Paparoa). In both instances you almost had to be as fast as a WRC car to get to the next stage (You generally skip one stage). A pushbike might not have the grunt required to do this. I'm even considering going as an official, as I am a qualified CAMS official and I might be able to get a better look at the action- but it means I'm in the one spot all day.

no, never been before so i'm pretty keen as it's so close. yeah kinda realized i'd miss stuff to cruize around. mainly just to get from camp and back. there's a camp site real close apparently, my mates looking into it. if you go up let me know.

I live in Coffs and had thought of volunteering to get a better look. There are some great tracks up here if anyone wants to take longer and go for a drive!

Bumper- where have you been? And I don't mean Coffs! :) I went to the website, and they said they need a thousand officials. Yet I could go no further about volunteering, so who knows?

Hi Rally!

Mate, I've been flat out building and moving. I've had a bit of a chance to play on some of the tracks up here and they are seriously gnarly. No wonder everyone here drives a Patrol or Cruiser with 6" lift - the ruts are all thigh deep :) I never thought my Fozzie would go through them. At one particularly bad spot I was doing a bit of track maintenance and a motorbike came by and enquired if I was ok. I had the MaxTrax out to get through the ruts. His comment was, "Don't see many Subarus up here!"
