Phun in Phillip Island....

G'day all - I'm taking the family out to Phillip Island for a short getaway this weekend from Friday to Sunday.

We're going to do the obligatory penguin visit on Saturday evening but I'm after any suggestions from subi owners here, if you know of any fun driving spots on the Island (not the race track - if I was taking the clubman GT I'd be all over it!!) incase I get some spare time. Just some good dirt/sand roads or tracks that I can take the family on for a bit of fun.

Are there any beaches you can drive on there without getting into too much trouble.

Any tips would be appreciated.

I'd still go to the track. There is a museum there worth a look if you are into that sort of thing- sounds like you are. And next to the museum there is actually a small wildlife/nature reserve. The views into Bass Straight are excellent on a good day. If it's not a good day, just wait half an hour....:lol:
 
Thanks guys - didn't get time to get to the track but we've already agreed that our next "proper" holiday when we can spend a full week there will be at phillip island. So much to do in such a small place.
