:quitar:Guys, We are supposed to get 10 inches of snow in southeast Connecticut over the next 2 days. Bring on the snow! I just can't wait to test the baby. This going to be a hoot! challis

yeah, they are talkin about Dallas getting around that much. Down here in central TX, we're lookin at a couple inches if we're lucky. I love the cold, bring it on!

Send a few inches in our direction. I'm sick of getting into the sauna to cool down!

I'll 2nd that. I hate the heat, can't stand it. :furious:
The official temp at the moment (5.40pm North Ryde) is 41.7 deg C And for our friends overseas that's 107 deg F
They have forcast these temps for about a week straight, but I shouldn't complain though, when you think of the poor people that are in Qld & have lost everything.

It's cold here in California, but we only get snow maybe once in years where I live.
Cold is great in a warm house or car, but AC is awesome on a hot day.
If I had to work outside, I prefer the heat over the cold, anyday, trying to use your hands and not being able to feel your fingers is no fun for me anyway.
Hopefully one of these days I can take my Forester to the snow in the mountains about 2 hours away.

Test

Guys, Bad News- Instead of the 10 inches which the weatherman promised, we got maybe 2 inches followed by hours of sleet and rain. When it goes below 32 degrees Fahrenheit we get Black Ice. Stay tuned! Supposed to get more next week on Tuesday. challis

Yep, we are getting the white stuff around here also. Snow, sleet, ice pellets, the whole lot. My 35 mile commute took an hour this morning. 15 to 20 cars spun out, some still on the road and some in the dirt. Watched a Tundra fishtail as a semi-truck went by him, lmao. My subi stuck to the road like it was on rails. Love this car.

And even if you had gone off the road, you know you would've been able to get out ;)

Hey Tex

Tex, Dirt is right! That is the most amazing thing! You would have just brushed yourself off and gone on with your business! lickity split:)

Ice report

Guys, Still No snow. However, My wife and I found a two track dirt road in Rhode Island completely iced over. WE creeped of course and never lost an inch of forward momentum. It was a real eye opener! I was a proud Papa. Supposed to get snow after the heat wave is over. I shall report. challis
