Outback through the Outback.

Just came across this, https://www.motortrend.com/features/travel/1103_subaru_outback_through_the_outback/index.html . Oops, obviously just a 'teaser'. However, love the photo of the bogged Coupe with 'dickie seat'!

What a good story that is. Good to see he didn't just go to the touristy spots either. Makes me want to go out there again... Can't say I've ever seen an 18 wheeler out there though- or anywhere really- all the big trucks with dual bogie drives are minimum 22- but mostly I just remember seeing road trains. Nowhere else in the world do you see the most unusual sight of road train on a freeway coming into and through a capital city- one of the experiences of driving into Darwin.

Not bad. I watched the whole video. Its not hard core offroading but it is good to see that the Outback lives up to its name :biggrin:

You have to laugh at how the explorers confused a relatively docile alligator with a huge salt water crocodile- but perhaps they did not know crocs existed?
