Here are some pictures from todays off road adventure.
My wife was the photographer and not the best one, there could have been many great pictures but most were taken from inside my Subaru.

Thanks for sharing your pics as a Land Rover recovery vehicle!

PS: I must be a car - "It's a car it has no sex."

The mountains in the background look magnificant. The view you had from the top must have been both magic & breathtaking. :raz:
That downhill with the washout & ruts looked quite challenging. Well done mate. :quitar:

Awesome pics!!! Not being sure where Hilmar is, NorCal or SoCal???
Hilmar is around the middle of the State, 1 hour south of Sacramento, Dogtown Rd. is about 2 hours from here near Coulterville.
The first picture is the trail we were suppose to take, but the gate was locked.
The Land Rover is an awesome vehicle, but I did go everywhere it did, one spot where we had to go around a tree it went around without any problem, I had to take a few tries, it also has much better ground clearance and it is a real 4X4.
The rutted trails were more chanlenging going up ang fun, my wife got out of the car on the last trail, she did not want to die she said, on the way up we both strugled at the bottom spinning the tires and my Subaru was up on 2 wheels my wife said, missed good picture.:(
Overall not bad for stock Geo tires.

Thanks for sharing these shots, Lino. I love the combination of a classic Land Rover and the Forester teaming up to off-road.

Thanks for sharing these. That looks like one fun road with some great scenery. I saw your post on subaruforester.org and it led me to this site, so thanks for that as well ;)
