My Optima Yellow Top (installed November 2007) is struggling to start the car after a couple of days of not driving it or a few minutes just running accessories with the engine off so it's time for it to go. I figure I'll just get a good conventional battery rather than fork out $400 again for another Optima, but I want something strong and the biggest that will fit. The Exide N50ZZL seems to fit the bill (see https://www.exide.com.au/pdfs/Exide Fiment Guide - Customers version Sept 2010.pdf).

While Kmart sells Exide batteries they don't have this particular one. Does anyone know of an Exide stockist in Sydney?

Well, things got a bit desperate - car wouldn't start on Sunday so I needed a battery straight away. Ended up just going to the nearest Kmart and getting an Exide X55D23C (the recommended Exide battery for the SG) for $149. Not the upgrade I was hoping for but such is life.

Thanks for the tip anyway Kevin. I'll keep them in mind for next time around when I'll hopefully be more organised!
