I am wanting to change all my globes over to LED in my 2003 Foz, seeing as i have done my headlights up with Phillips +80's and have got my spots working a treat i might do my indicators, interior etc.

Has anyone done the change here in Aus and if so what did you change over with?

thanks in advance

Tony

I have changed over my cabin and cargo lights over to LED plus added some extra. They are cheap on ebay and of decent quality. Buy some strip LED lights and go nuts - I've pout them in my glovebox also. Very handy when camping as they are much brighter, draw less power and attract less bugs!
Cabin and map lights - 30mm festoon
cargo is T10 wedge

Thanks for that mate

I am buying a camper trailer later in the year and will be decking it out with strip lights' but putting a few in the car makes sens as well.

Trying to suss some stop tails indicators and parkers as well.

Power?

I was wondering how you tied the LED strip in to get power? Does the stip stay on even when the glove box is closed? Thanks Kyle- Albuquerque NM

I havent done mine yet, but i do have the camper, all i have done so far is replace all the dust seals on the camper (lack of time and moey = limited productivity), the lighting is a little way off yet.

I simply spliced into the existing glovebox light. so it turns on only when the glovebox is open and the headlights are on. LEDs have a low power draw so it's no problem.

I think your US Foresters may not have a glovebox light as standard? if that is the case you will have purchase it. there is a DIY on this on subaruforester.org
