Well its basically as the title says. In all the Foresters and Outbacks there is carpet on the floors. Im not sure about other models of Subarus but im sure in the newer ones there is. I have bucket rubber mats in the front and rear which help heaps but sand still gets most other places (like inbetween the door sills and seats). I have tried duck taping up the carpet which helps for a small period of time. Has anyone got a solution to stopping sand, mud, what ever from getting in the carpet. I keep vacumming it and it comes out slowly, well most of it but the carpet is getting trashed from being vacummed so much. Anyone got any ideas or solutions?

Dont say ripping up the carpet, because I know there are wires there and exposing them will probably lead them to get damaged over time.

Thanks Taza

Keep it reasonably clean and take it out once or twice a year & hit it with a high pressure gun then hang it over a rope for a day, it'll come up like new & dries pretty fast........... or buy a Vax
