We need to mount a word-of-mouth attack! Bring over our brothers from the sell-out subaruforester.org forum! Let their users know that their membership fees are going to corporate pockets! They need to know who's for real!
I see, a whole web forum, of my country men. Here in defiance of tyranny of what is the corporate forum! Now, WHO'S WIT ME?!:monkeydance:

Tyranny Response Team. Has a ring to it. Maybe we should split it up into two.
Tyranny Australia Response Team 1 and
Tyranny America Response Team 2.
Or just TART 1 and TART 2?

It will be great to see a couple of TARTs drumming up buisness for ORS!

A million years ago when my wife was first teaching her group of rabble rousing mates in her school were known as the 'Tarts'! :ebiggrin:
 
May have offended one of the fellas on the other site. Told him about ORS & how the site was run by good helpful people, & the pages weren't littered by advertisments. It was almost as if he stuck his nose in the air and said "well as a contributing member, i don't see hardly any of the ads". So i went on to explain to him how contributing to them is like donating to google. "You really think that $20 makes a difference to them when they are getting thousands for their toyotathon & gm year end clearance banner ads every month?" He kept bringing up how didn't see the ads, so i came to the conclusion that they "were not paying to contribute to the cause; the ads do that. They are paying to not see the ads!" The conversation pretty much came to a halt after that.... What a noble cause, right?! If only we could get them over & contribute to something worth while...
And yes i'm saying all this while i myself am not even a contributing member. I will be though! Just as soon as the holidays are done.
 
Pleased to hear that we're good helpful people - some of us also help administer the "other " site :raz: Even though it's gone commercial we stick around because of, I suppose, a sense of loyalty to other subie owners.
