i have been recruiting people to our site as i go along, pretty much anyone that likes my OB :) or has a suby.
the issue is, the ORS logos that i so proudly wear on my windows dont catch enough attention, we gotta get bigger, more flashy ones.. what can we do???
 
^ I think he meant he found the web link on ausubarus, not the logos.

Thanks for spreading the word too! I guess we could look into a larger version of the logo; cost may be prohibitive though.
 
Are there stickers for this ORS website? I would proudly put one or more on my Foz.
I tell people about it through word of mouth but that only gets so far. This is my favourite site, partly because it has many Aussie members, heaps of info, good trip reports and is just a great site in general!
 
lol yeah good point! and yes the stickers are under the "ORS stickers" link at the top of the page and are cheap.
i have a few lol :)
as far as cost, i will pay it :) and i know many others will too!!
 
Oh. Im an idiot sometimes. lol. I found the link right after I clicked post last night. oh well. Im gonna buy some of those stickers just to support the site more :)

Top tip for myself, wear glasses when on computer and get some sleep in a week before catching up on forums after my week away.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get them sent to Australia? If I buy one today. I want atleast 1 before christmas/new years then I can advertise the site as thats my home towns busiest time of the year, tourist season :)
 
im still a member over there, but with all the adds they have, it really slows down my connection speed on my phone.I just posted something about us over there. We'll see how they take it.

I think it's generally taking about two weeks to get across the big pond, might be a bit late for Christmas.

Question to everyone; if we were to make a larger sticker, how big??? It would be nice if they were able to fit into a standard envelope, but that doesn't have to be the limiting factor. If I can get a good general consensus, I'll look into it. Probably just do it in the standard ORS.com logo sticker in white since thats the most popular.

as for the stickers, i live in the USA and it takes about 3 days. dont know if that helps but.... yeah lol

well i was thinking of 3 very good sized letters to cover my back window... :)
ORS but you coud have figured that lol
possibly something of a graphic design to put on my fenders but that would have to be black, as my outback is white :)
really no limit as for me, i love this website, you all have helped me very much in my attempts to fix my OB lol so thank you, or..... thank ya mate!! :)

I don't think it has to be too much bigger. I was thinking about half as big again. IE 150% of what it is currently :shrug:
