I recently headed off on a brilliant trip in my Outback covering some brilliant and challenging parts of Outback Australia.
The car performed extremly well and I was also very impressed with the new TDI Outback that "troyXT" took along for the trip.
We covered almost 8000kms in 2 weeks and the subi's didnt miss a beat!

I hope you enjoy the trip report of photos below.

Did you climb Ayes Rock?

Supper trip thanks for sharing it with us! Do you have more pics?

Nate

Looks & sounds like you guys had a fantastic trip. :raz:

Did you climb Ayes Rock?
I think Ayres Rock is now off limits in regards to climbing it unfortunately. But I stand to be corrected though

Mr Turbo

I heard they might be stopping people climbing Ayers Rock. The second time I went to The Olgas they had already stopped that.

I remember climbing Ayres Rock as a teenager some 20+ years ago. It's something that I'll never forget. :)
The view from the top of it was amazing.

I have a name for this part of the world. God's Country. I am aching to return there one day.

Great photos Ben, yeah was a fantastic trip, I will add some more when I get a chance.

We didn't get to climb Ayres Rock due to the winds. It was unplesant at ground level so would not have been nice up top.

top trip report! I've heard so much about the fantasticness of the trip, it's like i was almost there!

Regards,

Joel
