I have sent them an email asking every possible question! Stay tuned.

Very limited range for Sunaru's- no sump guard or rear bars , etc. Look forward to hear what they have to say though.

Price for XS:
$2103 powder coated
$2203 Polished alloy.

Includes provision for foglights, and price includes delivery to Melbourne. Also has tab for CB antenna.
bars are manufactuered in Queensland, and are made to order. Delivery time is approx 3 weeks.

Compares reasonably with subaxtreme. a similar powder coated, bar with foglight provision would be $1925 plus $160 for the foglight provision = $2085. I'm not sure if the subaxtreme price list (as at October 2008) includes fitting or freight.

If you're after the polished alloy bar, not sure what subextreme would be.

At the risk of sounding grumpy, some of us (i.e. Outback owners) recon that sums up SubaXtreme anyway...:madred:

Great gear, just a pity they can no longer be bothered with the Outback.

Still, at least they still do sump guard and front bars.

Tow hooks and rear bars would be nice though! ...

Hi ThorsMietersaw,
Subaxtreme do a bar for the Outback.
https://www.subaxtreme.com.au/subaru/bullbars/libertyoutback04.html

Aerobars are made by QLD Bullbars they only make them for the 2002-2005 Forester. I have them fitted to both my cars. I just fitted a powder coated one to my 2004 XS earlier this year and only paid $1799 delivered which is very cheap compared to Subaxtreme bars.

But whats wrong with the chin MrTurbo? it helps make it look like a truck, just need twin aerials (connected to nothing of course) some big RM Williams mud flaps, bundy stickers and big stone deflector on the bonnet

I just remembered them being out there as an option, wouldn't be so bad without the chin and spoiler, or radiator deflector thing in the middle.

Yes it does look very truck like, I agree, but as I said, it surely has to hurt your approach angle

Regards
Mr Turbo
