Cruise Control not working

Hey guys! I just got a 2003 Outback Limited 5MT, and the only "significant" problem I've found is that the cruise control does not work. The "master" switch on the dash lights up just fine, but the cruise control is completely non-functional. I saw Barry's thread a few below mine, and I've tried turning the lights on and off, but in my case, it does not effect the cruise control.

I haven't checked any fuses yet...I figured that if the master switch lights up, that means the circuit is good. Also, the backup lights work which are on the same circuit according to the manual. I have no idea...I'll check all the fuses and post with an update.

If that doesn't yield results...which I am feeling it won't...does anyone have any suggestions?
