Hi all,
Kids bought me a Garmin GPS for Fathers Day. Not sure of the best place to put it in the 2007 Outback. Bottom of the drivers side windcreen is a long reach. Top of windscreen tends to block vision a bit. Also issue of distance to lighter plug for the cord.
As it wont get used all that often may be just as well to keep it in the console and bring it out when needed.
Interested in any thoughts.

If your Garmin fits, I definitely recommend one of these

sits on the dash, no windshield suction cups and have taken it offroading without the GPS falling off. Plus very easy to take off and store in the glovebox

I have used products from this company to mount stuff to cars and motorcycles. https://www.ram-mount.com/ With my forester I went a cheap route. I never had much luck with the suction cup.

My car has the little storage hatch on the dash. Just up from the center console. I pulled the suction cup off of the mount that came with the Garmin. Used some Gorilla Glue and just glued it to the lid. I figured if it did'nt work I would just replace the lid with one from a junk yard. So far it works great and cost me nothing.
