I may be posting this in the wrong section. I saw this thread on expeditionportal (a sight I frequent) some time ago. It may fail to resonate with those other than Americans. I enjoy seeing people who can get by on a little less. America, and expeditionportal for that matter tells you that bigger is better. I personally think small is beautiful and this is proof you can go and do in whatever you want.

Although I would gladly settle for a boxer diesel Outback or Forester. Much rather, actually.

If only the Subaru diesel would become available in the US...
