Air filter - aka Air Cleaner Element swapout.

Howdy;

I purchased a new RYCO air filter for my GT (Turbo-S in USA)....

I unclipped the two clips but the airbox does not open easily as it is all held in place by all the surrounding plumbing, wires, tubes and bits-n-bobs...

Can someone please post some simple instructions to replace the air filter?

I'm sure it's easy, I just can't work out what else to undo after undoing the 2 clips.

I take the airbox off completely on mine. If yours is just in front of the firewall, undo the intake pipe, slip off the small rubber pipes, release the clip with the wiring, remove the 2 securing bolts, loosen the clamp on the throttle body and then take the whole unit off. It is the easiest way to do it.
