Disconnecting sway bars...

Anyone care to give a quick run down on how to disconnect sway bars, and anything to watch out for?

Also what are the pro's and con's of doing it? Pics would be great!

Undo the endlinks, take them off and swing the bars out of the way and tie them in place (I use cable ties) - not difficult at all.

Pros - better articulation off-road
Cons - doesn't handle as well on-road (body roll)

My solution was to make quick disconnects. It costs about $15USD, and you can disconnect them for off-road, then reconnect them for the street. Best of both worlds!

Note: since I posted that, I replaced the 1-3/4" clevis pins with 2" pins and added a stainless flat washer on each side.
