Houston, Texas (but I'm not there much).
I left the rig as usual this morning (actually I got out a little early, it was 05:30).
As I went up the "road" (by most folks standards it's not a road, run a Dozer through the woods and dump some rocks down = road in my world) the Forrie (2009) began making this horrible screeching sound, it sounded like I was dragging something or had something wrapped around a wheel. I clmbed around underneath (with a Flashlight, in the dark, on a dirt road, in the woods and remember I am a fat, Handicapped-guy) but did not see anything. After looking around and trying to roll a few times I decided that I had picked up a rock between the right front brake rotor and the metal rotor-guard so I poked the guard back with my fingers and "walked it off", it went away in about 25'.

Man, I love this thing! (if it could tow more weight it would be perfect).

I had the same thing happen a few years ago!!! Of course I was in the wife's Blubaru, so I had an extra panic attack. Awful noise it made, but as soon as I pushed on the backing plate I heard the rock drop out, whew!!!

had the exact same thing at a ORS weekender at Newnes. tiny piece of granite in there after a mud dive. horrible scary noise. lucky i had Rally and Brendon there. all i had to do was put on the hand brake.

had that happen down a gravel track. somehow it dislodged itself

Another little trick I've heard is to put it in reverse & drive a few metres backwards, then back into drive & continue on as normal. :iconwink:
