Embarrassing moments..... out for a quite Sunday drive down a quite country lane, the setting sun illuminating the leaves on the trees .... imagine it....lovely!! eh!

Nearly back onto the main road and soon home to tuck into the Sunday Roast (yum).... down and over the creek and up the other side, crested the bank and - Oh! Oh! - forward motion ceases.

hmmmmm! think about it for bit and try a hill start in 2nd gear (low torque) wheels spinning forwards - Oh! Oh! - Forry going backwards (i hate the sick feeling that accompanies these events - one of being not in control)

note slick clay packed tyre treads.

Called for help early but ended sliding back down to the creek after another attempt this time with foliage packed under the wheels in an efforet to gain traction. Help arrived after dark and winched us back up and over the top of the bank. Now i remember why i put Geolandar AT/S on my MY2007 Forry.

How embarrassment! :raspberry: Hey, onebob, if you've never been stumped you're just stuck in the 'comfort zone'.:poke:

All ways let your tyres down if you get stuck on your own to at least 20psi

Sounds crazy but every bit will help.
