Once we got back on tarmac we were treated to this view

Pretty awesome time, one short section was a little technical for my liking but nothing broke so no problem. Spotted a ton of campsites along the way, will have to plan an overnight trip up there in the fall.

Nice Mud job EJ!!

The photos of your trip too

Nate

There's some really nice scenery in those pics. :raz:

It looks like you really gave your Forry a good mud bath too. :lildevil:

Speaking of mud, it looks like a mud mask. Maybe your Forester is trying to keep its skin fresh and young. Great photos by the way.

Looks like a great place E.J.

May have to hook up with you sometime and have you show me some spots in GA. Especially if it's in north GA, it's not too far away from me.

Should be doing a trip to Brown Mtn. here in NC fairly soon, if your interested I'll keep you posted. If you search Brown Mountain here on the forum you can find some trip reports of mine to give you a clue to what it's like.:)

Thanks guys, we had a blast up there.

Seems like most of the good dirt around here is north, I'll ask my Toco buddy if he knows of any good spots NE.
I definitely want to check out Brown Mountain, my in-laws live in Weaverville so it shouldn't be hard getting the "boss's" approval.

Beautiful shots!! That road looked like a lot of fun. Glad you got through it safely. Your confidence will increase, as will your skills, if you continue to push yourself a bit. Congrats!

I'll keep you posted, still might be another month or so. Just gotta get my coolant leak fixed and round up some other folks.:)
