2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS coupe! I've got it Friday night, did a timing belt yesterday, got pulled over today (no plates) :rock: The cop was nice enough to let me go though (I think he liked the car, he kept looking at it in awe), I just couldn't resist to drive it. I'm getting it registered first thing tomorrow which is not soon enough. This car is very clean, runs great (166K), and it's so much fun! I've got it from a friend for a very good price (way under KBB). I've been wanting one just like this ever since they've started making them, and I couldn't pass up a good deal! I've had my doubts about getting this instead of a 4Runner but this has been on my list for a very long time. Btw, anybody wanna buy my 03 Sentra? Anyways, enjoy the pics ;D

Congratulations! Looks like a great buy too. Impreza + 2.5 N/A motor is a brilliant combination :lildevil:

We had an MY02 Bugeye Impreza with the 2.5. Awesome car.

Yarney, you tease! :raspberry: This car will not see a lift in any near future. However, it will see dirt and high speeds as I'm planning on taking it rallycrossing every now and then (and who knows what else).

Ok, off to the DMV now, gotta get her legalized :biggrin:
 
Sh-i-t,

Driving with no rego here would see the car impounded and you could well lose your licence as well.
(I'm sure you would've been driving safely, but our 'wallopers' just aren't that understanding.)
If some 'dipstick' had run into you would your insurance have covered you?

Yeah, I know it was stupid, but c'mon, it's a new (to me) Subaru, and a RS, and it was nice outside, and it was Sunday, and I couldn't resist, and... :poke::raspberry:

The cop was understanding though, I've had the bill of sale, it was a Sunday, and it was close to my home, so I've had a legit excuse ;) I've got temp tags for it yesterday, got it added to my insurance, so I'm all good now. Now I have to sell my Nissan so I can bring my savings back up (so I can stay married and keep my RS) and so I can afford to replace a clutch on the RS. It's slipping a bit.
 
Why is there a scope on the hood, if there is not TMIC?
Nice looking car though.

Drop a turbo in it ;)

I don't know why, but the RS hoods are like that. I like it, looks good and it gives me a reference point while driving :biggrin: Turbo? Maybe, but not in the near future. I kinda like the NA (and I'm poor) ;)
