I bought a couple of these Cree 5w head lights and I highly recommended them if you need a very powerful light. They are literally blinding!
These are by far brighter than any of the expensive ones that cost 5x as much. The only cons are that the ratchet angle adjust can slip and battery life only lasts about 3-4 hours on the brightest setting. They are also not waterproof but should withstand a light shower.
They are also dirt cheap if you look up ebay for "Cree head light", very good value for money.
Quality does vary, as I bought my second one off the streets in Bangkok and that one is brighter and better built than the ebay one.

use it for fishing/crabbing and impressing mates hahaha. One of them has those monstrous 72 LED headlights and this one p1sses all over it. Price on ebay around $15 delivered but there seems to be cheaper ones appearing now. Bangkok version cost $12 with lots of haggling!

sorry no pics , plus pics are misleading as they can be fudged according to your camera settings

get one , you won't be disappointed

just bought one for $11 from Honkers. probably get it in a couple of weeks.

I forsee a bright future ahead of you
