Towing tyre pressure

I've just bought an A'van camper and I'm not sure about tryre pressure for the 07 Outback. Info plate recommends 36psi in the rear 17" tyres when the car is fully loaded but makes no mention of pressure when towing.
Anyone got any thoughts?

I would think that 36 PSI was about at the recommended limit for most passengers tyres. Check what it says on the side wall.

I run 40psi in mine, but they are all terrains. I would imagine increasing pressure a few psi would certainly improve your wear patterns.

my MY98 Liberty has it listed in the book the tyre pressure for towing, which if my memory serves me right is 39psi

I usually run 38 psi (give or take) when towing our pop-up camper (~ 1200 lbs dry)
