G'day all,
I was asked by a freind if the scangauge would read coolant temperature in a new Forester as apparently they don't have a temperature gauge. Does anyone know?
When I was giving him the info about the scangauge I came across a free firmware upgrade available from the manufacturer, if you purchased your scangauge after July 20th 2007 (of course I got mine in April 2007 so its going to cost me $25 US). Their advertising says with the upgrade you can program an additional 25 gauges to be displayed, though I can't see any Subaru specific codes mentioned.
The Australian distributor is trying to get approval to do the upgrade here and has asked people to email the manufacturer and let them know we want it to be done here.
cheers
