yeah, all the ruts were snow covered, he happened to find the biggest one in that area.

You can send some of that cold weather this way. I'm utterly sick of hot, humid days and nights. Bring on autumn ASAP!

Hehe fantastic!

Hey, send some snow THIS WAY! Dying for some fluffy stuff out here.

were getting a surprising amount of snow, we got another 1" friday, i know thats not much for most of you, but around these parts it is.

We hit that road up earlier tonight and it was a MESS! its above freezing and the river went down (road floods several times a year), the once smooth gravel road now has ruts over a foot deep. We were driving on the side of the road were no one had rutted yet and my car just kept sinking more and more as we went on until i bottomed out in a huge mess of silty slop. Up ahead were massive pieces of drift wood that in combination with the mud it would have taken one gnarly truck to go through, which aperantly by looking at the 1 1/2ft deep ruts through it all, someone had a truck just beastly enough (more than Smash81s truck could manage).

Sweet!!! Finally watched the video, looks like you had everything set up right. I've seen some really sketchy recovery jobs going on around here.:shake:
