Hi all, I am looking at getting a 2009 Subaru Forrester.

Can some one give me feedback in regard to this vehicle ?

I am also looking at putting a few extra accessories ?

Can you tell me should I get them from Subaru or just purchase the parts and fit them myself ?

Below are the parts I am looking at :

Lifestyle Awning Pack SAT9005K $554.00
Rear Step Panel (Stainless) E7710SC000 $228.00
Rubber Mat Set J5010SC100 $175.00
Fog Lamp Protector J101ASC200 $77.00
Tow Bar L101ASC000 $809.00
Roof Cross Bars SAT3002 $373.00
Cargo Tray (Low Dish) J515ESC000 $148.00
Bootlip & Bumper Protector SAT6002 $50.00
Wheel Lock Nuts B327EYA000 $136.00

Thanks looking forward to your feedback

I had a 2007 FXT (may she R.I.P.) and now I have a 2009 X Premium, the 2007 was "Wagon-er" and the 2009 is more SUV-like but I have NO complaints about the 2009. As far as accessories here are my thoughts:

Lifestyle Awning Pack SAT9005K $554.00, I have no idea what this is.

Rear Step Panel (Stainless) E7710SC000 $228.00, us 'Mericans can only get this in rubber (it's black) and I have one (I think it's essential).

Rubber Mat Set J5010SC100 $175.00, I am going to guess these are what we 'Mericans call All Weather Mats, Weathertech Floorliners are WAY better and they are cheaper.

Fog Lamp Protector J101ASC200 is apparently film, try headlightarmour for a cheaper alternative.

Tow Bar L101ASC000 $809.00, I assume this is the stock trailer hitch, I have one (and it works and fits well), there are cheaper alternatives out there (but I don't want them).

Roof Cross Bars SAT3002 $373.00, are Yakima's and they are cheaper from Yakima.

Cargo Tray (Low Dish) J515ESC000 $148.00, ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL, BUY IT.

Bootlip & Bumper Protector SAT6002 $50.00, the fold-out "Bootlip Protector" looks like a "solution in search of a problem", I would pass on it, the Bumper Corner Molding (if that's what this is) is optional I think.

Wheel Lock Nuts B327EYA000 $136.00, are ESSENTIAL and factory wheels require a different "face angle" on locking lugs then aftermarket wheels so I just bought the stock ones.

Skip the awning - I checked it out at a dealership and I think you can buy better aftermarket - pick up any 4wd mag and you'll see dozens of ads for better made and cheaper made products. Or make your own.
