i can't seem to get a pic up for my avatar. is there any probs or is it just me

Yeh, I tried too... shows up as being there in the profile but doesn't come up in posting..

i've noticed in the user cp under edit avatar you cant unclick the do not show avatar setting.

Is there any merit in altering the Avatar file properties that can be used.

I feel that the 80 x 80 / 20Kb results in too small an Avatar.

I can't recall what it was on the ORSv1.0, but I think it was 150 x 150. Also, if another site (such as image shack) is hosting the file, why does there need to be an image size restriction?

I agree the default avatar size is a bit small. I will increase it shortly as you suggested.

I'm increasing it to 125 x 125. Let's see how that works. You will need to reload your avatars for new larger size to show up.

Eden, if you scroll right to the bottom of the page, on the left hand side there is a box where you can select "Default" or "new". You cant see the avatars cos you have "new" selected.

You can set this up also in the "UserCP" section of the forum. Select "Edit Options", scroll right to the bottom of that page and there is a section where you can make the same selections.

Give me a shout if you are still stuck.

The "New Style" is a work in progress. Avatars, multi quote, quick reply and a few other features are not working yet. We need to find a new tech guy. The last two have let us down. I guess you get what you pay for.
