G'day all!
A mate just got an ex-demo 2009 turbo foz, base model from what I understand - but it had leather... Mmmm...
Very nice - went really well for its size. The thing was a lot larger than I thought it would be from the driver's point of view! But when it came to getting it moving there was no problem in that department once the turbo was online. Its probabily one of the quickest cars I've driving since a new 2003 WRX...
The disappointing thing was how it handled in corners - I found that it rolled quite a bit, defenetly a lot more than I expected for a turbo model. When pushing it into a corner you'd steer into it and while keeping some throttle on to pass through the corner the body roll would occur half way through the corner - needing the driver to be on the ball to catch up with the steering. It went pretty well in a sprint up Mt Macedon's north face near straw's lane
Other than that it went very well and I wouldn't complain if one rocked up in my driveway overnight (ligitimately!).
Here's some pics of the foz with Ruby Scoo and the Foz's motor, not that there's much to look at other than a plastic cover these days!
Cheers
Bennie
