this is from a trip around oz in the forester with a trailer tent for 4 months mainly doing the top end from Perth and back again. i will post up a trip report to give this a bit more of a story. I didn't have a lift kit then but i am looking in to getting one now after seeing some parts i missed out on. I'll get something sorted out in the next couple of weeks. :)

that looked like it was nothing more than a mere puddle easily driven by an everyday sedan.

yes i did mean "little" water crossing. When i was talking about the harsh terrain of the gibb river road i was talking about the trip. sorry for the miss leading title. cheers

that looks like one killer water crossing mister turbo, very nice.

Isn't it amazing how the harshness is broken by the greenery just with a little water in the outback - as shown in David's video. It was the same in the Simpson - add a little water and there's plenty of growth, bird life etc.
 
does anyone know david gibson? i'm trying to get in contact with him re. lift kit that he sells. doesn't seem to check emails very often.. :(

not a huge amount of forester pics in here but a couple and i apologise for the dodgy camera work in advance.

How did the subby go along the Gibb River Road. I have a 2008 Forester and love to do that one. Prob being its along way from Queensland, thats lots of holidays.
