on a honeymoon?! :p

I'd love to join you but I think I'll be busy at that time of year...

Cheers

Bennie

I hope to be there in late March - early April. My times are governed by the Victorian school holidays, which are tied to Easter.

hehehe, not my own honeymoon.

Was also thinking of doing ayre peninsula and vic highlands and strexleci track.

I'm guessing i'm not going to get all four done in 3 weeks tho

You can do that in 3 weeks. Head up into the high country, follow the Murray towards SA, drive up then to Tibooburra, then head off to Cameron Corner, Innaminka, back down the Strezlecki and do the Eyre Penisula after that, then come back via the Malley country, Grampians and Gt Ocean Rd. I've done most of that area and loved it. Gets a tad cold in the southern areas in winter though. Assuming you come from Victoria?

yeh, from tassie! even better :-)

gotta do it the other way around tho i think cause we have a wedding in adelaide at the start of our trip. unless we do the wedding at the end

just need an accomplas!

Mate, I love them both. Tassie has unreal roads, lovely people (but lots of road hogs) fantastic sights and a feel unmatched anywhere in Oz. Victoria has so many different types of scenery in such a small place. Their roads are great, although not quite to Tassie standards. Gee I love Australia- so many great places, so many good people. Wish I was Kevin and toured it all year round!

maybe i should re name it the "i wish i was kevin trip"

Then you'd be swamped with people. Ah, the lifestyles of the rich and famous.

no takers? only 6 weeks to go now! I've got lots of work to be done before we leave

awning
sat phone
spare tyre carrier
mount the roof to tent lower
get enuf water and petty in the car
fix an o2 sensor
tyre repair kit
and much more i haven't thought of

ah well, she'll be right!
