Well it looks like my theatre blog has generated some interest, a national magazine has invited me to submit stories for potential publishing.
Ramblings of a Techie

Hopefully I will have some material published as most of my work has dried up and I am looking for work almost doing anything, do not want to go bankrupt yet. So if you here of any work just let me know. Now back to writing :)
 
Well I have sold 3 stories and have been asked for more stuff. I am feeling pretty good and I have offered more shows to do as well. Maybe my financial situation will now improve
 
:bananatoast: on the improved financial situation!!! I'm going through that myself right now, still taking a while to catch up.

I may have mentioned this before, my bro-in-law is a lighting tech out in Vegas. Cool stuff that goes way over my head. He also got to do the lighting on the worlds largest cruise ship, the Oasis of the Seas. He sailed on her 'delivery' trip from Norway to Florida, he was ready to get back to his desert after that one.

Well I have seen my first 2 articles in print and I am very happy. And it looks like the next print issue might have 4 stories by me. And some of these articles will have some of my photos as well. And one story will be about WOMAD music festival for which I had a media pass to access.
 
Well the bought the 4 stories and also publishing some of my photos. Now to meet the next deadline. Some of my photos have also appeared online for theatre reviews of a show I am working on. And the added bonus I am taking some prints of some of my photos down to an art gallery for an exhibition that I was invited to submit stuff to.
Very happy :)
