Well, have dropped the Forester back to stock height, this is the first trip out since I've done that.
Good thing I left the skid plates on, they helped me skate the snow.
A few more inches and it would've been.... interesting to get out at stock height...
We got a late start, didn't get up to the site until about 2pm. Beautiful drive though.
Ground was bare and it had just started snowing when we pulled up.
Didn't really stop snowing all the way through til when we left the next day.

I continue to be very pleased with my studded Winterforce tires. We were plowing through untracked snow the first 3 miles headed home from the campsite, snow was 1/2 way up my fog lamps at times. The tires gripped well and didn't give me any trouble.
We had a family come by in their fullsize ram. Husband and wife were hunters, had brought there two adorable daughters (4 and maybe 6 years old). They were in the area looking for elk. Pulled into our campsite to make sure we were ok. We were, of course, and I offered them some hot cocoa just as we glanced at the ridgeline and saw a 10+ herd of good looking elk. They started to turn around by going down the hill, at which point Karla yelled "why don't you turn around up here??" pointing to a flat spot. The truck had all season tires on it and we weren't looking forward to chaining up to pull him back UP the hill (I always carry full recovery gear). Thankfully the husband took Karla's advice and used the flat spot.
What an incredible area. Can be a bit busy when there's not a bunch of snow, but people are always friendly. It was nice to really be up there alone. Easy to get to and accessible by car when it's not snowy. We've had our motorcycle group up there camping twice as you don't need a 4x4.
And before I end, a HUGE THANK YOU to Subacool for closing my garage door!! Totally forgot to close it on the way out.
