Just had all 4 tryes replaced and front and rear alignment done. The guy told me there is some sort of bent of the front and suggest to put in camber bolts. He mentioned it takes about 1.5hrs work and asks for $248 parts and labour.

Figures from the alignment data:
Camber - front left : -16', right -46' after alignment

As I have no idea about this, can anyone advise me of the following?

1. Is this genuine suggestion?
2. Is camber bolt the only way to correct this?
3. pros and cons of using camber bolt to correct this?
4. is the price right?
5. Any other concern?

Thanks in advance

PS. It's a MY06 manual.

Already has camber bolts in the front doesn't it? My MY'03 has OEM camber bolts in the front (and now non-standard in the rear).

Unless they mean adding a 2nd camber bolt - but even then I don't see how it would take 1.5 hours!

You need to knnow just what is bent- and replace that. If it was me, I'd like to inspect the ebnt bit as well. But you must have given it a fair whack to do that. Kevin is right. You can adjust the camber already

Run away very very fast.

If something is bent get it fixed.

I have camber bolts on Blu, ONLY because of his lift kit, otherwise they are not needed. If you did something to bend something on a subaru, you would have remembered it. The bolts are dirt cheap (I paid like 12.00 USD a pair).

Thanks guys for all your advises.

I do remember the tyre people said something bent maybe from factory...I did drive my car onto the kerb once so not sure if that was the cause or not.

But anyway, shouldn't take 1.5hrs (as Kevin said) so I think I better run away very very fast....

Cheers
