Diff guard

^ probably 'cause Aussies are smart enough to figure out that the rear diff is the strongest part of the car and doesn't really need it! :iconwink:
 
These came out of the factory as an option for the MY and L series subarus. They were a piece of flat bar, prob 3mm thick, that was shaped to fit the diff. That unit doesn't look very strong, the sides haven't been welded to start with and the material used looks too thin.

I reckon one of these that's wider to protect the CV cups would be the go, I'd probabily use mine as a rock slider too, with a guard to protect the fuel tank as its out the rear in the L series and I've already smashed one up over time...

just click on the quote tab down the bottom right hand corner of the post and just delete any text you dont want or leave it all and leave the text in brackets. then type your reply after the last bracket with "/quote" inside
