I'm still trying to make up my mind on which tyre to get...Bridgestone 694's 235/60/16 or 693's 215/65/16.
235's probably a bit wide but shouldn't cause too much of a problem.
I have been to 3 tyre places and her is what i have been told.
1st Bridgestone tyre place told me the 693's are a light truck construction rated at 950kgs and are a tough tyre and should be OK.
2nd Bridgestone place .....693's are too heavy for my car and will make the ride hard. Go the 694's. At least he said that if i bring the car in he will fit them and we can see what we think.
3rd place....a Tyrepower store...the 693's should be OK and that they make TWO versions of them and one is made for Honda CRV's etc and is a lighter construction.
I'm still leaning towards the 693's for the slightly higher profile but not sure what will happen after i fit the new springs which will be STD height 25% heavier.
Nothing is as straightforward as it semms!!!
I have sent Bridgestone an email to see what they have to say.

Ideally, I would fit the spings first, see the effect, then re-assess tyres.
Just like computers - change one thing at a time.
(However, we don't live in an ideal world, as I realise every time I look in the mirror!)

I will do this. Bridgestone have got back to me and i will get info straight from the horses mouth!!!! I did notice the 215/65/16 is actually a 215/65/16C and not a LT. LT is for Light Truck but i can't see what C stands for.
