Gettin dirty at double island point! PICS!

My dad and I took the Roos up to double island point the other day. Was excellent, although was
raining probably the hardest I've ever seen rain fall haha. Which made the inland tracks a little easy
although providing some fun mud holes. The inland tracks had heeps of deep ruts and hill climbs but
was all to easy for the subys. Heres some pics (mines the all white one) Also, new exhaust

Dad's has 40mm strut blocks and slightly bigger tyres. leave some feeback :ebiggrin:

Nice shots there fandizzle. Looks good with the stormy skies.

Its good fun on the sand with the subies. I had a ball a few weeks ago up on Fraser.
The mud looks like fun too.

Your lift looks good and can really see the difference to your dads.
 
I wish I'd had a well set up Subie like that back when I was on my P-plates! Looks like you're making the most of it. I agree with Eden too - I bet you have that last pic as your computer wallpaper!

yea im very thankful that i have him. i just worked my donkey off and its payed off. love it! hhaha the funny thing is yea it is my wallpaper!

Excellent Pics!!! And looks like it was a fun day.:) I really like in the first shot, looks like you can see the wall of rain up the beach.

yea it was a fun day, although the bad weather was annoying but the clouds make the pic cool

lol good spotting! sorry for not replying didnt see your comment. Well, im not sure, although it probably happended when we were going through the water. I found it when i was cleaning it and the clips that hold the bottom of the side (dont know what to call it) have become old and brittle and are not holding it on.
 
Nice pics great day and those clouds make the pictures tops! Have thought of going up there myself but don't want to get stuck and have no one to pull out! How did your Dad's go through? Scrape out on much?

I might even put that last pic as a screen saver! Haha

yea been there 4 times now and still cannot not wait until the next trip! We should defiently go up well get some more like minded dirt loving owners and make a day of it. My Dad's has almost as much clearance as mine with the 40mm strut blocks and bigger tyres so his is fine. We've taken his to fraser, moreton and straddy plenty of times. The foz'z love it!
