I didn't feel any difference in comfort so the air pistons at 15bar/220psi probably don't compress on small corrugations but certainly would on ruts and on diagonal compressions but I haven't tested it yet, I will try this too.

All the air system is well sealed, I tested it one night at 20bar/290psi and there was no leak at all, scuba tank closed.
