My driver's seat keeps dropping and I have to pump it up again. I presume (don't have a service manual yet) it's a pneumatic system and seals are no longer 100% so is there a service kit for it or any tricks to improve its operation?

Not that I'm aware of, it should be mechanical. The mechanism may of failed in which case a used seat is your best and cheapest option.

AFAICT, SWMBO's 2009 has a mechanical system that uses a lever, instead of the 'wheel' type adjustment on my 2006 seat. Otherwise, the mechanism looks to be similar, as well as I can see it without removing the seat/s.

There are a number of seat variations, including electric. Do you by any chance have power seats? My service manual has an entire chapter dedicated to just the seats, and it runs for 29 pages.
