Cheers Kevin

What did you guys think of it after the road trip?
and how did your step daughter find it ?

Ive always wanted a SWB suzuki...... which my mini trailer would suit very well lol

It will be fun to see what its capable of, although i don't think ill be doing steep hills like the subaru did (see vid posted above lol)

Well the ride reminded me of my '78 FJ Landcruiser SWB; pitching back and forth so it's not a great touring vehicle. I took her and partner down to a nearby beach to teach them how to use it and it performed very well indeed. Unfortunately after a couple of months she rolled it and wrote it off! Slow rollover and no one hurt.

ohh dear I'm glad no one was hurt!!
I wouldn't like to drive it long distance at all lol
but off road it seems like it'll be fun,
Im so glad this car wasn't made available to me a couple months ago or i might not have gone to the extremes i did to get the Subaru back on the road.

They're very popular with fishermen for beach driving.

After my wife and get in it theres only room for maybe a 6 pack

but yes they can be very capable offroad, trying to understand the whole manual locking the wheels thing and i wonder how slow its low range is ?
Also im thinking my mini trailer would suit the zook a bit more than the Foz

Cheers

Went for a short drive yesterday and the Foz started making a loud noise when i let off the accelerator pedal in first and second.
From looking up as much as i can it looks like most people with this issue have a bad rear diff. So now ive gotta try figure this out

Just hope its not the gearbox

If its the rear differential, you will have this noise in any gear at any speed when letting off the accelerator pedal.

I think I do have it in all gears and at all speeds but I find it hard to hear in the higher gears over the exhaust and road noise, Ill get my mum to drive it tomorrow so I can sit in the back and listen.

Hoping a diff swap is simple(if thats what it is).
