Abercrombie River National Park

Yes, been to all and usually camp at Silent Creek. The local Subie club usually have an annual trip there.

Thanks Guys for your responses.
Kevin - When you camp at Silent creek, do you enter via Arkstone and drive through the national park? Or did you enter via Abercombie Rd/Jerrong side?
Dulagarl - I have stock SJ (2016) with a bash plate. I'll just take it slow and if i see anything to extreme, ill just turn around.

Thanks again

For some reason Dulagarl's post is not sync'ing properly!

Anyway, I've been in and out of the park on both points - if by yourself you probably want to avoid Little Bald Hill as it can be a bit challenging for unmodified cars.

Our usual entry is the first access past Black Springs.

Yep. been through to the beach and the sink. Don't think i went to silent creek. Lifted H6 forester with 20 kg centre diff and clutch type lsd in rear, torsen diff in front. No probs at all. It is a bit steep in spots, but the tracks were all in good condition. Interesting spot.

BTW there are several reports for Abercrombie in the Trip Reports section.
