Polishing Headlight lenses.

Got mine professionally polished ($60) a while back and the results were outstanding. The Hamish the technician even ceramic coated them to prevent UV oxidation from reoccurring.

^ Toothpaste does a good job ...

Don't know if the fluoride helps to prevent further decay though ... :poke: :rotfl:.
 
Looks like 60 bucks well spent if they've been coated as well
 
Dad purchased a kit to do Mum's '03 Corolla - the driver's side light was completely hazed over. The kit made it look like a new light.

Then he did my wife's car that had a little bit of hazing occurring - came up awesome too!

Pretty good for a $40 kit and a bit of elbow grease!

I killed a ballast on one of my HIDs in a creek crossing. So while I'm still trying to source a new ballast, I had to put back in the old Halogen lights from the first post. Glare being a big no no on HIDs it was polish time again!

So I decided to get Hamish to polish up these while they were off the car.

Fantastic difference, Pigs :)!

I just used toothpaste to.clean the top of mine, where the parking light is. The rest was OK.
